Second hand German trams had recently been acquired by Kraków from Nuernberg and advertisements in German had been painted out. A later ex-Nuernberg GT4. These GT4 cars were the first western vehicles purchased along with some articulated GT6 which are now based in Nowa Huta rather than Cracow itself. GT4 trams have now been withdrawn. The route of Linie 5 in 1991 was Osiedla XXX-LECIA PRL – Wasilewskiej, Kamienna, Długa, Basztowa, Lubicz, Rondo Mogilskie, Mogilska, al. Planu 6-letniego, Bieńczycka, Kocmyrzowska - WZGÓRZA KRZESŁAWICKIE, but the communist era destination 30th Lecia as seen on this tram became KROWODRZA GÓRKA by 1994.

here is this tram later. 30 of these T4 DUEWAG carswere purchased from Bielefeld from 1989 onwards.

108 was new in 1960 and purchased in 1990, finally scrapped in 2001.
