1914-15 Star, WW1 Medal awarded to 7-1315 Major William George Wray, 2nd Battalion Otago Regiment, NZEF. a bronze four pointed star with crown at top; across the face are two crossed swords; suspension ring; with ribbon obverse- at centre on a scroll is date 1914-15 surrounded by an oak wreath; superscribed below, monogram initials GV reverse- flat and plain; stamped with recipient’s details ribbon- watered ribbon of red merging into white which merges into blue named on reverse- 7-1315 - MAJOR. W.G. WRAY. - N.Z.E.F.
