Opis:

Avenue J station at the BMT Brighton Line, looking north. About one third of this line runs upon an embankment between family houses and gardens. One might feel reminded of an “ordinary” railway line. Indeed, the Brighton Line originates from a steam dummy railroad to Coney Island which was integrated into subway service in 1920.
