Opis:

Entrance to the northbound platform of the 49th Street station at the BMT Broadway Line, Manhattan. This station underwent an experimental renovation program in October 1973, featuring contemporary red glazed brick walls, granite flooring, indirect lighting and soundproof ceiling. However, the upcoming oil crisis did not allow such modernization experiments any longer, and therefore this station remained somewhat unique.
