The procession ceremony for a new nun, admitted to the cloister (behind the half door). The "novice" graduates from a white veil to a black veil. It is the morning of October 31. After this photo, her family members hug her for the last time. From now on, they will get to see her twice a year, and that will be through a screened window into the cloister.
