Taken at The Summer Pops at Aintree Pavillion, Liverpool a couple of years ago.
OMD Are one of my favourite bands of the 80's and Andy McCluskey only lives about 7 miles away from me. They are probably one of the best bands Wirral has ever produced. Andy is from Meols and Paul is from Greasby.
They had huge success in the 80's which continued right into the 1990's. Andy McCluskey wrote songs for and managed Atomic Kitten (Yes I have photographed them too!!). When Atomic split up Andy decided to reform OMD and go on tour again - great move Andy!!!!
They are on tour again in October and are playing in Liverpool at the New Liverpool Echo Arena (3 October 2008).
