Opis:

Coat of arms of Slatina-Timiș, Romania (from ro.wiki: Stema comunei Slatina-Timiş se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, de aur. Scutul este tăiat în bandă de o fascie roşie, în care sunt plasaţi trei vulturaşi de argint. În dreapta jos şi stânga sus se află câte trei ghinde cu trei frunzuliţe de culoare verde, aşezate tot în bandă. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Vulturaşii aşezaţi în bandă reprezintă blazonul familiei de Lorena, prin prezenţa în zonă a vestitului general Carol de Lorena, conducătorul armatei imperiale, în timpul campaniei antiotomane din anul 1684. Ghinda verde semnifică bogăţia fondului forestier ce caracterizează zona. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.)

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
