Opis:

SS Raffaello of the Italian Line, 50,000 grt, built by Cantieri Riuniti dell'Adriatico, Trieste, launched 1963, completed 1965, laid up in the Bay of La Spezia, 06/76. She was bought by the Sha of Iran in 1976, badly damaged in the Iran Revolution in 1979, torpedoed in the Iran-Iraq War 1986, sinking in shallow water, and then later rammed by an Iranian cargo boat. Local divers then looted the hull, which apparently still exists. Scanned slide taken with a Canon AE-1 Program.
