• O escudo do Santa Cruz Futebol Clube foi criado em 1915, por seu atleta Teófilo Batista de Carvalho, apelido Lacraia, o mesmo que sugeriu que o vermelho fosse adicionado quando foi designado a inclusão de outra cor.[1]
