Opis:

The Sferisterio in Macerata, a large open-air theatre erected from 1820 to 1829 as a playing field for a local ball game, now houses a yearly opera festival in the summer. Its website can be found at [1]. Here, the Sferisterio is shown two nights before the Premiere of the summer 2007 opera festival. The dress rehearsal of "Macbeth" is about to start.
