St Mary's South Cowton, near to North Cowton, North Yorkshire, Great Britain. A redundant church in fields and well away from the nearest road. Did this medieval church once act as the parish church for the three Cowton villages, as it stands in none of them? The church is closest to South Cowton, a deserted medieval village site.
