A joint-service honor guard presents the colors at the dedication ceremony marking the start of construction on the Pentagon Memorial on Thursday, June 15, 2006. The memorial, tentatively scheduled for completion in September 2008, is dedicated in memory of the 184 lives lost when American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.
