Opis:

The Streymin Bridge was built in 1973 and has been the only road between the two islands. Earlier there was a ferry connection also, and in 2014 the Faroese parliament decided to make a subsea tunnel between these two islands which are the largest of the Faroes. This photo is taken from the small village Nesvík on Streymoy and shows the village of Oyrarbakki on Eysturoy.
