Opis:

Aghmat - Tomb of the poet Al-Mu'tamid, born in Beja (now in Portugal). The king Al-Mu'tamid, son and successor of the king of Seville was nominated governor of Silves (Portugal) with only 12 years. After having been defeated, in 1091 (484 H.), after the fall of Seville, he was exiled in Aghmat at the south of Marraquexe, where he died and was buried.
