Opis:
The large fresh-looking lava flow in this NASA Landsat image (with north to the top) originated from the Terpuk volcano, a small shield volcano capped by two pyroclastic cones. Terpuk lies about 10 km south of Leutongey shield volcano (covered by clouds at the top of the image), which lies west of the crest of the central Sredinny Range. The Terpuk lava flows are among the youngest in this active part of the Sredinny Range, and were erupted about 2500-3000 years ago.
