The picture is a Greek Catholic icon depicting apostle Thomas with a spear referring to his martyrdom. The icon was painted in the end of the 18th century as part of the iconostasis of the Greek Catholic Cathedral of Hajdúdorog, Hungary. Thomas' icon is placed on the second tier of the iconostasis, the so called Twelve Apostles tier. This icon is the first painting from the left.
