In an older part of Katowice, there was the usual clutter of polish style neon and large advertisements - here for PKO on the wall, plus a cinema, DOM Mody (clothing) etc. The highly unusual early variant of the Konstal 102N tram with the cheesecutter window is on route 40 - perhaps fleet number 154 or 150. It is certainly very similar to no 150 156 and 158 were 102Na units, and in any case, 158 was withdrawn in 1988. The Neon on the right hand side - ŚWIATOWID - is for a cinema. ul. 3-go Maja 7, Katowice
Swiatowid translates as Idol or Fetish. Better the first - Cinema Idol..
