Opis:

This was the Borghese family's first chapel in Rome, in the great church of Trinita' dei Monti. Not much remains visible of the original late sixteenth-century decoration, by Cesare Nebbia, but the family crests are visible on the pilasters. The original altarpiece has been substituted by this plaster cast of a Pieta' from Muenster cathedral.
