The U.S. Navy escort carrier USS Rabaul (CVE-121) afloat immediately after launching at the Todd Pacific Shipyards, Tacoma, Washington (USA), on 14 July 1945. Rabaul was completed and delivered to the U.S. Navy on 30 August 1946 but never commissioned.
