Opis:
On 29 April 2012 TB Tvøroyri had an opening ceremony celebrating their new football field in Trongisvágur, Faroe Islands. They have not had a home field in Tvøroyri or Trongisvágur since October 2010, when TB Tvøroyri played their last match on Sevmýri, which is a few kilometers further east of this new field. In 2011 they had their home field in Hvalba (a village north of Tvøroyri), at that time they were playing in the second best division, but they got promoted and the first matches which they played in 2012 were played on Eiðinum in Vágur, a neigbour village south of Tvøroyri. TB Tvøroyri has named their new football field "Við Stórá". "Við" means by, Stór means large or grand, á means river: "Grand River Football Field" or Football field by the Grand River. At first they said that they might call it "Í Stópunum", but finally they chose to call it "Vøllurin við Stórá" (vøllurin means the field). TB played their first match in the men's Premier League (Effodeildin) just after the ceremony, they played against ÍF Fuglafjørður and won 1-0.
