("Paray-le-Monial, Saône-et-Loire, 26/3/17, ceremony of the Allied banners, prince Ghika is carrying the emblazoned banner of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Romania"). Ghika, a Romanian aristocrat and convert to Roman Catholicism, was a lay apostle in Villejuif during World War I. Later ordained and returning to Romania for missionary work, he died in 1954, as a political prisoner of the communist regime.
