Opis:
Coat of arms of the Austrian municipality of Bad Gleichenberg, granted on 22 June 2022. The Roman amphora was adopted from the former coat of arms of the municipality of Bad Gleichenberg and refers to the Roman use of the healing springs. The two blackthorn branches stand for the nature reserve in the dry biotope of the Klausen quarry. In addition, blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) has always been used for medicinal purposes, as food and for drinks. The two mountains in the base of the shield represent the Gleichenberger Kogel and the Bschaidkogel, the three bars wavy Argent the healing springs of Bad Gleichenberg.
