Startowali bokserzy o wadze przekraczającej 81 kilogramów. Pojedynki w tej kategorii wagowej toczone były w dniach od 25 sierpnia do 5 września w hali Palazzo dello Sport. Zwyciężył reprezentant Włoch Franco De Piccoli.
